Opener

“Hey [NAME], this is (Your Name) with RAIS — We’re offering a free review reactivation campaign to help generate up to 25 new Google reviews in exchange for honest feedback and permission to share the results. We waive the service fee; you just cover about $10 in messaging costs. Could I take 30 seconds to explain how it works?”

Explain the review system

“Basically, instead of relying on you or your team to remember to ask every customer for a review, we take a list of customers you’ve already served and run a review reactivation campaign by text and email.

It’s designed to help generate up to 25 Google reviews, depending on how your customers respond.

If you like what it does, we also have options for keeping the review process automated going forward.

But before I get too far into that, can I ask you a couple quick questions about the business?”

Discovery

Do not pitch here. Ask. Listen. Take notes.

Business History

“How long have you guys been in business?”

Customer Volume

“Roughly how many customers or jobs are you handling in a normal month?”

DO THE MATH OUT LOUD

Monthly customers: ________

× 12 = ________ customers/year

× years in business = approximately ________ customers served

“So even if we just use [X] customers a month, that’s around [X] a year. Over [X] years, you’ve potentially served around [X] customers.”

CREATE THE REVIEW GAP

Current Google reviews: ________

“So you’ve potentially served around [X] customers, and you’re sitting at about [X] Google reviews right now.”

PAUSE.

“What are you currently doing to ask customers for reviews?”

“How consistently would you say that actually happens?”

“What have you tried in the past?”

“What worked? What didn’t?”

OWNERSHIP QUESTION

“In your opinion, what’s the biggest reason you’ve served that many people, but only a small percentage have ended up leaving you a Google review?”

LISTEN. WRITE DOWN THEIR ANSWER.

Biggest reason: ______________________________

4. BUSINESS REALITY / QUALIFICATION

“How many [techs / crews / trucks / employees] are you running right now?”

Number: ________

“Are you pretty much at capacity right now, or could you handle more work?”

Capacity: ______________________________

“What’s a typical job/customer worth for you? I know it can vary.”

Average value: $________

QUALIFICATION CHECK

Do they actually want/can they handle more business? ________

Are the economics reasonable for RAIS? ________

Is there a genuine problem RAIS can address? ________

Do not sell simply because they can afford it. Sell for fit.

VISIBILITY PIVOT/UPSELL

“Let me ask you something else. Do you happen to know where you show up on Google when somebody around here searches for [SERVICE]?”

Current visibility: ______________________________

“Does Google bring you much business right now?”

Google calls/jobs: ______________________________

“Are you doing anything consistently with your Google Business Profile or local visibility right now?”

Current marketing/visibility work: ______________________________

“Is anybody currently managing that for you?”

Provider/CRM/agency: ______________________________

EDUCATE — DON'T OVERPROMISE

Getting more reviews is definitely part of it, but reviews are really only one piece.

The other piece is making sure your Google presence isn’t just sitting there. Somebody needs to be consistently working on it—keeping your profile updated and active, making sure your business information is accurate across the web, monitoring what’s going on, posting and continuing to work on the things that can help strengthen your visibility.

Now, Google ultimately decides who shows up and where, so I’d never tell you, “We’re going to put you in this position.” Nobody can honestly promise you that.

What we can do is consistently work on the pieces we can control, so when somebody in your area is searching for [SERVICE], you’re giving your business a better opportunity to be found.

BUILD THEIR VALUE STACK

DO NOT READ A GENERIC FEATURE LIST.

Start with:

“Based on what you’ve told me, there are really [2/3] things that stand out…”

POSSIBLE CONNECTIONS

Inconsistent review requests →
Automation + follow-ups + removing the need for staff to remember.

Large review gap →
Past-customer reactivation + ongoing requests.

Weak/unknown Google visibility →
Ongoing GBP management + profile activity + citations + monitoring + visibility reporting.

Bad previous marketing experience →
Clear scope + reporting + month-to-month + cancel anytime.

High-value jobs + available capacity →
Importance of improving discoverability without promising leads or ROI.

CLOSE THE LOOP

“So it addresses both things you just told me: [THEIR PROBLEM] and [THEIR PROBLEM].”

THE CLOSE/ THE OFFER

“At around [X] customers a month, you’d fall into our [CORE / PLUS / MAX] plan, which is $[PRICE] a month.

It’s month-to-month — there’s no long-term contract, and you can cancel at any time.

Normally there’s also a $297 setup fee. If we get everything started while we’re on the phone today, I can waive that setup fee completely.”

“So let’s get the [PLAN] system started for you. Would you rather I text or email you the secure payment link and stay on with you while you complete it, or I can enter the card through our secure payment process while we’re on the phone?”

STOP TALKING.

DO NOT RESCUE THEM FROM THE SILENCE.

If you decide to waive the setup fee (I recommend waiving the fee for the first few sales)

Use Code: F44USC6

If you or the client prefer that they process their payment just copy, paste and text them the payment link through GHL:

THE DOWNSELL

Do not downsell at the first resistance.

Handle legitimate objections first.

If [CORE / PLUS / MAX] remains a genuine no:

“No problem. Let’s do this another way. We can still move forward with the free review reactivation campaign we originally talked about.

There’s no service fee for that campaign. You’d just cover the actual messaging cost, which is usually around $10 for 200 customer contacts.

That gives you an opportunity to experience the review side of what we do without committing to the full visibility program.”

SECURE THE IMPLEMENTATION STEP WHILE THEY ARE STILL ON THE PHONE.

If they say:

“Send me the link.”

Do NOT consider the sale complete.

“Absolutely. I’ll send it over now. Let me know when it comes through and I’ll stay with you while you knock it out.”

CONFIRM:

☐ Payment link received

☐ Checkout completed

“And let’s get your onboarding appointment on the calendar now so we’re not chasing each other later. What does your schedule look like?”

☐ Onboarding appointment scheduled

“Perfect. Next, I’m sending you our onboarding form. You don’t have to sit here and complete the entire thing with me, but I want to make sure you actually receive it before I let you go.”

☐ Onboarding form received

A PAID SALE IS COMPLETE WHEN:

☐ Payment completed

☐ Onboarding appointment scheduled

Call Screening/ Gatekeeper Script Sample

“It’s (Your Name) with RAIS. I’m reaching out because I have a free Google review campaign I wanted to offer [Business Name].”

If they push with “Is this a sales call?”

“I do offer paid services, but that’s not what I’m calling to ask them to buy. I’m reaching out about a free review campaign I’d like to offer the business.”

Objection Handling Samples

HEAR → CLARIFY → DIAGNOSE → REFLECT → RESPOND → RE-CLOSE

“I need to talk to my wife”

“Absolutely. Are they a co-owner or part of the decision on something like this?”

If YES → respect genuine decision authority.

If NO → uncover the concern:

“What do you think their biggest concern is going to be?”

Address that concern if appropriate.

Do not pressure someone to bypass a genuine co-owner.

“Let me think about it”

“Of course. What specifically do you feel like you need to think through?”

Then diagnose.

“Is the concern more [X], or is it more [Y]?”

Use what THEY told you earlier.

Address only the actual concern.

Then:

“Does that address the part that was making you hesitant?”

If yes:

“Okay. Then let’s get it set up. Would you prefer the secure payment link, or would you like me to enter it for you?”

STOP TALKING.

“I’m not sure it’s worth it”

“Fair enough. What part are you unsure would make enough of a difference?”

Then listen. Make them identify the value gap before you start defending anything.

“What if this doesn’t work?”

“What specifically are you most concerned about not working — the review side, the visibility work, or getting enough value from the service overall?”

Clarify first.

Never guarantee results.

Use legitimate risk positioning:

Month-to-month

No long-term contract

Cancel anytime

Clients should stay because they see value, not because they are trapped

Then RE-CLOSE.

“I don’t like making decisions on the spot”

“Yeah, no one does.”

“But we’re talking about saving you $5,000 a year by taking advantage of the opportunity.”

“This is a no-brainer.”

“So will that be Visa or Mastercard?”

“I’m talking to someone else”

“Okay, but if what they showed you made sense, you wouldn’t still be talking to me.”

“So what’s your real fear?”

(address it briefly)

“So will that be Visa or Mastercard?”

“We’re already busy”

“That’s a good problem to have. Are you completely at capacity, or could you still handle additional work?”

Explore:

Capacity

Seasonality

Future pipeline

Dependence on referrals

Whether reputation/visibility still matters

If they genuinely have no capacity and no need, don't force the sale.

“I think asking in person works better”

“Okay, but let’s look at the math.”

“You said you do [[X]] jobs a month, and last month you got [[Y]] reviews.”

“That’s about [[Y ÷ X]]%.”

“You should be closer to 30%.”

“And listen if asking in person actually worked that well, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

You know how hard it is to get people to actually write reviews.”

“So will that be Visa or Mastercard?”

“We’re focusing on other marketing channels right now”

“That makes sense — but Google reviews and Google ranking are the highest ROI channels you’ll ever have.”

“This is the foundation of your business.”

“No matter where people find you — ads, social, referrals — they’re always going to Google you.”

“And if you don’t have the reviews to back it up, it doesn’t matter how they found you.”

“Not having your Google listing dialed in is like building a treehouse without a tree.”

“So will that be Visa or Mastercard?”

“I want to do some research”

“Research what?”

(pause)

“Let’s go over it again.”

(quickly recap the system + value)

“So will that be Visa or Mastercard?”

“I’m busy call me back in an hour”

“You and I both know as a business owner,
you’ll be busy in an hour too.”

“It’s going to take me 2–3 days to get everything built anyway.”

“Let’s get this started now, and we can schedule time to finish onboarding.”

“So will that be Visa or Mastercard?”

“Follow up in a few weeks”

“Sure. What would you be waiting for?”

That's it. Don't answer an objection they haven't explained yet.

“I’VE BEEN BURNED BY MARKETING COMPANIES”

“What happened?”

LET THEM TALK.

“What do you think bothered you most about that experience?”

Then contrast RAIS only using legitimate differences.

Useful points when relevant:

Month-to-month

No long-term contract

Cancel anytime

Clear scope of work

Reporting

No ranking guarantees

No lead/ROI guarantees

Then RE-CLOSE.

“I’m already working with a marketing firm”

“Okay. Are they already handling your review process and actively managing your Google visibility too, or are they mainly handling something like your website/ads?”

Don't attack the existing provider. Find out whether there is actually a gap.

If You Get Stuck

“Which part didn’t land for you?”

(address it briefly)

“So will that be Visa or Mastercard?”

Ask for the card after every objection.

Sound like a broken record if you have to:

“So will that be Visa or Mastercard?”

Objections are handled with questions and contrast, not pressure.

Lesson 6 Takeaway

If they hesitate, don’t push harder.

Slow down.
Clarify value.
Reflect their own logic back to them.

When the value is clear, objections disappear.

“It’s too expensive.”

“Got it. When you say it’s too expensive, is it that the monthly amount doesn’t work for the business right now, or are you not convinced there’s enough value there to justify it?”

DIAGNOSE BEFORE DEFENDING THE PRICE.

Use their actual economics only if you discovered them.

Do NOT invent ROI.

Address the real concern.

RE-CLOSE.

“Send me some information.”

“Absolutely. What specifically would you like me to send over?”

If they can't identify anything:

“Gotcha. Is there something you're still unsure about that you're hoping the information will answer?”

“MY CRM ALREADY DOES REVIEWS”

“Got it. How is that working for you right now?”

“How many customers are going through it versus how many reviews you’re actually getting?”

Use their numbers.

Do not attack their CRM.

Determine whether there is actually a gap.
