After your 30-second opener, this is where you explain your free lead magnet. The example below is for the reviews software, but you would just change the words to whatever your lead magnet is

Example:

"Great! Now, what we’re going to do is send a text message to your past clients from the last three to six months and ask them for a review, and we will connect your current system with ours so every time you finish a job it automatically sends a text message asking for a review.

Transition into offer:

“So the way it works is, it’s a two-week trial.

If you get 30, 40 reviews in that time, you keep them,

If we don’t hit at least 25 reviews, I’ll keep working for free until we do.

After that, it’s only $97 a month.

Move into questions BEFORE they start to

Step 1: Get Permission

You always transition like this:

“Great, let me ask you a few quick questions so I understand what this looks like for you.”

Step 2: Longevity Question (Context)

“How long have you been in business?”

Step 3: Volume Question (Math)

“About how many jobs are you doing per month?”

Step 4: Do the Math Out Loud

You don’t keep this in your head.
You say it back to them.

“Okay, so you’ve been in business about years, doing roughly jobs a month…

so you’ve helped around customers.”

Step 5: The Gap Question (This Is the First Hit)

“And you’ve got about reviews total?”

Then pause.

Let the silence do the work.

Step 6: History Question (What They’ve Tried)

“What have you tried in the past to get more reviews?”

Then:

“What worked?”
“What didn’t?”

Step 7: Ownership Question (Why It’s Not Happening)

“What do you think the biggest reason is that you’re not getting more reviews right now?”

Step 8: Size & Scale

Ask one or two, not all:

“How many employees do you have?”

“How many trucks or crews are running?”

“How many guys are out in the field with?"

Step 9: Average Ticket

“What’s an average job worth for you?”

You don’t react.
You don’t comment.
You just note it.

This is future leverage.
